With 20 different positions, the Giselle means everyone can enjoy dance class

The Giselle’s two bars are set with 19 cm between them, and they each boast 10 different adjustable positions, making it a very versatile barre. It’s easy to adjust the height of the Giselle, so you can make quick changes in class in order to adapt to a variety of dancers and exercises. Whichever position the Giselle is set in, it’s always stable and ready for a top performance.

The exclusive design of the Dinamica Ballet double uprights means the pressure dancers put on the barre is distributed along the wooden beams. The barre’s excellent stability allows dancers of all ages and sizes to practise at the same time. This ballet barre is available with wooden beams in lengths of 2 m and 3 m.

A flat base or one with wheels: two options to give you maximum performance

The Giselle is part of our line of portable professional ballet barres. We offer two types of steel base: one with wheels that weighs 20 kilos, and another with a flat base that weighs 10 kilos. The base with high-density rubber wheels affords great stability and allows you to move the barre easily by tilting it 45 degrees to roll it along the floor.

The barre with the flat base is lighter, so you can lift it and move it without it touching the floor. Whichever base you choose, both models come with PVC stoppers to protect the surfaces beneath the barre.

If you need to move the ballet barre often, the base with wheels is your best bet; if you’re going to move it occasionally or share it between two people, you’ll likely want to go with the flat base. The total weight of the barre with the wheeled base and a 2-m bar is 53 kilos; with the flat base it’s 34 kilos.

Barra de ballet portátil AVANT

Built with the best materials for hours of use

Our bars made of Southern yellow pine wood from sustainable forests are strong and resistant as well as being flexible enough to make them ideal for advanced exercises. The perfectly smoothed and unvarnished wood provides a pleasant feel, a firm grip and an organic beauty to help you get the most out of your practice. The uprights are firmly clamped onto the wooden bars without the use of screws having to be drilled through the wood, guaranteeing a long life and confidence for your practice, as well as making for an easy assembly.

We’ve carried out elasticity studies in a lab at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia which have shown these materials to provide resistance to forces of up to nearly 400 kilograms. The bases and uprights are made of top-quality steel with a silver epoxy finish, making them highly scratch-resistant.

2. Place the two uprights one in front of the other. Untighten all of the screws in the upper and lower decks of both supports. Insert one wooden bar in between the decks of the lower support. We suggest the bar stand out of the decks by 20-30 centimeters. Tighten all the screws using the Allen key making sure that the wooden bar is perfectly and firmly blocked between the two decks. Repeat the same process with the other wooden bar on the upper support.

Instrucciones Giselle

When moving the barre without wheels, ensure it is lifted off the floor and not dragged. This will prevent damage to your floor and to the rubber stoppers on the bases. To move the barre with wheels, stand at the center of the barre and tilt it by 45° until the wheels are fully touching the floor. Pull it gently until the 2 columns move at the same time, this will avoid any kind of tension on the wooden bar.
